Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, DFW Airport South, TX

I really liked the option of the queen suite with sofa bed so nobody had to sleep on the floor! The hotel is conveniently located in a pleasant quiet area about a block from the highway. We didn't hear traffic noise all night which was good. 20-30 minutes from downtown Dallas depending on traffic. It is obvious that it is older and a little worn. But it still seems clean. somehow we ended in a room that had a bathroom designed for disabilities. It was equipped with a shower chair and handrails. The electrical plugs in our room however were well past their sell by date since we could plug in devices but the plug would slip right out. Solved that by using a bandaid to hold it in. We were on the second floor and did not hear anybody walking around above us and not much hall traffic either. Staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't take advantage of the pool, but breakfast was plentiful and good- standard eggs/bacon/potatoes/ waffles/ cereal etc.

Are room was spacious and clean

We had a king room with a sofa bed suite. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom counter was very spacious for all of our girl belongings. There was a microwave in the room. This hotel is in walking distance to Walmart and several other great restaurants. The hot breakfast bar was amazing everyday with a choice of continental as well. (Every little bit of saving helps on vacation.) This hotel is only about 15 minutes from Dallas stadium too.

Very comfortable and close to places where I wanted to go.

Y’all. I don’t say this about many hotels, but this place was amazing!!! It was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. But the best part of the stay was the breakfast!!!! This is not continental breakfast. This is a breakfast buffet. They had the regular eggs, bacon, milk, yogurt, muffins, and juice. But they also had oatmeal, bagels AND English muffins, waffles AND pancakes, AND cereal. AND the checkout isn’t til noon. This will be my go to spot when I visit my kid at school.
